Gates Open WA is a nonprofit grant-making organization based in Tacoma, dedicated to providing financial and connective support for art and artists across Washington State. Founded by stand-up comedian Monica Nevi, we take pride in being one of the only organizations in the country to offer a grant specifically for comedy. From visual art and film to music and novels, our mission is to foster creativity and ensure more amazing work is made right here in Washington State!
